8x8 lined ecru paper dated September 1871, written by John W Williams in Indian Springs, Georgia. Sent to hardware merchants in Macon, Mr Williams wishes to order eight white pine panel doors- he thinks the price he was quoted was $3.25 per door. Williams attaches a drawing for hall doors with head and side lights and wants to order two of these. The Macon merchants wrote down the name and date that they received this letter and put a Forsyth address for Mr WIlliams. Possible that he was living in Monroe County while building in Indian Springs.
