Rare Vintage Antique Hardcover Leather Bound Religious Evangelical Lutheran Church \"Deutsches Gesangbuch\" Hymnal Book measures approximately 4-1/4\" x 5-3/8\" x 1-1/8\", and contains 428 pages. Tooled detailing and gold embossed Bible, Cross and floral design appear on the front and back covers. The following book title is printed on the spine in gold lettering:
Evang. Luth.
Gesangbuch
As well, the following original owner\'s name and year are printed on the front and back cover, respectively, in gold lettering:

The Rare Vintage Antique German Hymnal for the Evangelical Church in the United States Religious Book was published by Sherman & Co., Philadelphia, registered by trust in 1849, and extended in 1877. It is printed entirely in the German language, and remains in Good Condition for its Considerable Age. Noted for accuracy is some light surface wear and leather wear around the edges. Pages are gilt-edged on three sides, and remain in Very Good to Excellent Condition.
