DESCRIPTION: This antique Erie railroad lantern from Adams & Westlake Co. is fitted with a clear globe on which: "E.R.R.Co." is embossed. The metal frame has minimum/moderate signs of age but otherwise is in very good condition. The top of the metal frame has: "The Adams & Westlake Co. New York Chicago Phil. " embossed on it. The outer rim of the top shield has: "Erie.R.R" embossed on it along with patent numbers and dates; the number: 1242 is also stamped into piece.
