ANTIQUE MAJOLICA FIGURAL SPANIEL DOG HEAD PORCELAIN TOBACCO HUMIDOR JAR - AS FOUND
Nice antique porcelain humidor tobacco jar of a figural Spaniel dog head. Far from perfect but displays quite nicely since most of its injuries are not in plain sight. Looks to be European in origin but not sure from which country. Some faint markings on the bottom - mostly numbers.
CONDITION: Please note the chips, cracks and hairlines along the inner rim of the top head piece as shown in photos 8-14. There is also a chip on the chin and 3 chips along the bottom edge highlighted with blue arrows in photos 9-11. The chips are not noticeable looking at the humidor straight on or from the sides with the top resting on its base. From the back, one edge chip can be seen.
The base has one small chip on the inner rim (photo 15).
Slight paint wear.

5” tall x 5” deep x 5” across the ears. Diameter of the base is about 4”.
Weight: Just under 1.5 lbs without packing materials.
