ANTIQUE NORTHWOOD GLASS GREEN OPALESCENT RUFFLED NOVELTY BOWL PEARL FLOWERS For Sale

Beautiful antique green opalescent glass footed bowl made by Northwood Glass circa 1903. The pattern is called "Pearl Flowers" and is sorely underrated, in my opinion...it features daisy-like flowers on panels with little beads and scrolls around them. This piece also has an irregular scalloped edge and 3 ball feet with vertical striations. The coloration is lovely, starting transparent green in the center and gradually flaring out to a pale green, opalescent edge. There were different bowls made in this pattern, and I believe this one is the "novelty bowl" as it measures from 8-9" in diameter and 3-4" in height at different points. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and very little scratching, just has a few typical straw marks in the center as is characteristic of glass from this period.
