Hey everyone, putting up a classic Silver Age book from my collection. This is an original, raw copy of The Amazing Spider-Man #22 from March 1965. If you love classic Stan Lee stories and gorgeous Steve Ditko artwork, this is a great piece of Marvel history to add to the shelf.
This is the official 1st appearance of Princess Python and her pet snake, Precious! Spidey also goes toe-to-toe with the Circus of Crime (going by The Masters of Menace in this one), making it a really fun, iconic read.
Condition Details: I’d personally estimate this in the VG to VG/FN (4.0 to 5.0) range. It’s a solid mid-grade copy that presents really nicely, but it definitely shows its age. I want to be 100% transparent so you know exactly what you’re buying:
The Spine: Has some standard color-breaking stress lines/ticks along the edge and a slight bit of spine roll.
The Corners: The top right corner has a soft crease/bluntness, but there’s no missing paper.
The Pages: Expected light browning/aging on the edges typical for a 60s newsprint book, but everything is intact, attached, and completely readable.
Please take a close look at the photos to judge the grade for yourself. It comes bagged and boarded.
