This is a Philip Adams Custom-Made Cut-Down Short Sword, made from a 1851 Ames Mfg. Company, Cabotville, Wrist Breaker Blade. Blade is also marked, "US ADK". It has a wire wrapped Oak Handle. With a Brass Pommel Cap, made from an Antique Candle Holder. Heavy Brass "S" Guard, and a Springfield Ramrod Bullet Puller for a Pommel Nut. I got this idea from the Germans.
