Up for your consideration is a stunning Inuit carving from the 1870’s. This was picked up by my Grandfather somewhere in his many travels. He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. Thus had been displayed in my home for many years. Made of whale vertebrae and seashells it measures 6 inches tall by 4 inches wide. He told me that it belonged to an Inuit Shaman. A very unique piece.
