Antique 1884 Lady & Cow GRANITE IRONWARE Advertising Cardboard Tray Kitchen Farm For Sale

Very rare beautiful early piece of advertising from Granite Ironware that was copyrighted in 1884. Wonderful image of a woman (Milkmaid) walking with her cow with a pretty pink ribbon with a cow bell hanging from cow's neck. The Milkmaid is carrying a bucket with a label "Patent Granite Iron Ware" on it.On the back of tray is "Patent Granite Ironware, The best Cooking Utensils Ever Made- Light, Wholesome, Durable, Easily Cleaned.The Party Purchasing One Dollars Worth Of Granite Ironware Is Entitled To One Of These Beautiful Granieta Trays."(Granieta is what the tray is made from, the companies form of paperboard).There is a little fading of original colors in graphic. There is a 2" crack at top of tray along with a smaller one and a small crack on left side of tray. The tray has scratches and tiny specs of black paint. Old traces of a brown paint on front boarder where it looks like they tried to cover wear on tray. On the back of the tray is a piece of clear tape covering one of the small cracks at top. There is also wear to the cardboard on back.
