This antique piece is in beautiful vintage condition considering it is over 130 years old. There is minor kiln grit/firing specks typical of 1890s English earthenware, which adds wonderful historic character. The interior is clean, the transfer pattern remains vivid, and the lid fits nicely. There is a small, minor glaze flake/rub on the inside rim of the notched lid opening (please see photos for details), but it is completely free of any major modern cracks or repairs. The original spoon/ladel is not included.
