Antique 1900s Young Woman Studio Portrait Photo 3.5x5.5 B&W Gelatin Orig
Original antique early 1900s black-and-white studio portrait photograph on gelatin-silver postcard paper depicting a young woman standing indoors.
The vertically oriented image shows the woman in a light blouse and dark skirt posed beside an ornate carved pedestal column, one hand resting on the top and the other at her chin, with a painted backdrop of a curving balustrade staircase and trees behind her.
The photograph is printed nearly full-bleed on postcard-weight paper, suitable for album mounting, archival sleeve storage, or small-frame display as an example of early twentieth-century portrait and social-history photography.
The reverse side is formatted as an unused divided postcard back with a vertical separator and printed address lines, leaving the message and address areas blank.
A separate handwritten reference slip pictured with the photograph notes ≈ 3.5" x 5.5" as an approximate size guide for the print.
Actual Measurements: ≈ 3.5" x 5.5".
The listing is for one loose, unmounted and unframed original postcard photograph only; any brass display stand, handwritten measurement slip, or other props visible in the listing images are used solely for scale and presentation and are not included.
Condition: Original antique early 1900s black-and-white gelatin-silver studio postcard photograph with typical light handling and storage wear from age. Image surface shows overall age toning with scattered tiny specks, a few small dark spots, and faint surface handling marks but no tears or heavy creases. Corners and edges display minor softening including a small rub and slight bump at the upper right corner. Reverse side has light general toning with a few small brown stains near the lower area and no writing, stamps, or adhesive residue. Photograph is offered as a single loose unmounted and unframed original postcard print only; any brass display stand, handwritten measurement slip, or other props visible in the listing images are used solely for scale and presentation and are not included.
