Antique framed1905 Holy Matrimony marriage certificatefor a wedding inJanesville, Wisconsin, published by theCentral Publishing House of the Reformed Church in the U.S., Cleveland, Ohio, and marked“No. 6. Printed in Germany.”
This is a decorative church-published marriage keepsake from the German Reformed / Reformed Church tradition, not a plain courthouse form. Central Publishing House was the Cleveland publishing operation connected with German Reformed congregations during the 1800s and early 1900s, producing church literature, worship books, hymnals, and related religious printed material. The German printing mark adds another layer of period appeal, reflecting the German-American religious and printing connections behind the piece.

The printed design features floral artwork, vow ribbons, “Holy Matrimony” lettering, and “Till death us do part” at the bottom.
