This antique 1915–1925 Art Deco / Art Nouveau transition table lamp features a handmade 12-panel slag glass shade and Ostrander diamond-logo brass sockets. It serves as a stunning, functional centerpiece for a historic home, library, office, or formal living room.
The hand-crafted glass shade (made by my husband) is a 12-segment geometric mosaic built using traditional stained-glass channel techniques. All 12 panels are structurally sound, tight within their leaded channels, and free of cracks or chips. It features a balanced color rotation: • 4 Variegated Green Panels (rich forest and olive tones) • 2 Deep Amethyst / Plum Panels (highly sought-after color segments) • 2 Swirling Sky Blue & White Panels • 4 Milky Caramel / Cream Neutral Panels.
The ornate trophy-shaped cast metal column with sweeping dual handles, geometric ribbing, and classical floral-scroll relief work. Gorgeous, authentic aged silvery-gold patina with light, honest surface wear and minor oxidation that highlights its historical lineage. The underside reveals a heavy, authentic four-spoke cast iron loading weight built seamlessly into the base rim. This rugged engineering ensures the lamp remains exceptionally stable and balanced.
It has a new vintage-style 5\' brown cloth covered cord and new plug. The independent metal pull-chains pull smoothly, and both sockets function beautifully. The lamp measures 24” tall with a 9\" base and weighs 9 pounds. The shade is 17\" x 8\" and weighs 5 pounds.
To guarantee this fragile piece arrives in perfect condition, this lamp will ship in two separate boxes. One box will contain the safely nested, heavily padded handmade glass shade, and the second box will carry the heavy cast iron base.
