**Antique 1920s Bulgarian Men's Fashion Studio Portrait Postcard - Stara Zagora**
Up for sale is an authentic original antique black-and-white real photo postcard (RPPC) dating from the 1920s, capturing a magnificent look at young men's style in the Kingdom of Bulgaria during the interwar period. The front features a sharp, beautifully composed studio group portrait of six young men showing off diverse regional and city fashion.
The group displays classic roaring-twenties Balkan style trends, ranging from formal three-piece suits with a striped tie and fedora hat, to more casual working-class or student attire paired with flat caps (newsboy caps), buttoned waistcoats, and distinct patterned socks.
The reverse side reveals a divided postcard back layout packed with authentic period handwriting in pre-reform Bulgarian Cyrillic script:
* **The Dedication:** Handwritten in fountain pen ink: **"Подарявамъ си лика... за споменъ..."** (Gifting my likeness... for a memory...).
* **The Recipient:** Addressed to **Пенка Д. Муерова** (Penka D. Muerova).
* **Location Context:** Signed off at the bottom with the historic city name: **Стара-Загора** (Stara Zagora, Bulgaria).
* **Paper Maker's Logo:** Features the iconic vintage German **Bayer** key-and-circle photographic paper watermark stamp (`Bayer / J.X.`) printed right on the divider line.
* **Condition:** Vintage antique condition in good overall shape. The front photograph retains great tonal depth, crisp detail focus, and excellent grayscale contrast. The paper borders show typical light corner softening and a tiny bit of edge wear. The reverse side exhibits general age-toning and mild foxing/brown spotting near the margins, but the ink writing and paper brand stamps remain entirely bold, crisp, and beautifully legible. Please view both high-resolution pictures closely to judge the exact physical state.
