Antique General Electric Telechron electric range timer clock dating to approximately the early 1930s. Model 5T20BAH5, Style T-52, made in the USA.
This Art Deco appliance timer features a glossy black Bakelite case, cream-colored dial, geometric numerals, revolving seconds indicator, and separate ON and OFF setting dials. It was originally used to automatically start and stop an electric range or oven.
Untested and sold strictly for display, restoration, or parts. The rear Bakelite panel has a substantial crack, as photographed. The original cloth-covered electrical cord is heavily aged and frayed, with damage at the plug; it should not be connected to electricity without professional rewiring. Additional age-related discoloration, spotting beneath the glass, scratches, and general surface wear are present.
A scarce and visually striking piece of early electric-appliance and kitchen history.
