Exquisitely hand painted with very detailed and intricate patterns of tiny florals, pin stripes and even lace designs. Gilded details throughout. Beautifully painted faces with delicate features. Absolutely stunning in person. Please zoom in on the photos to view details. They are both seated on large footed armchairs dressed in 18th century attire, her in a long gown with corset, tiers of ruffles and lace. He is wearing a long coat, waistcoat, breeches and a white ruffled undershirt. He is sipping from his cup and has his little dog by his feet.

Excellent Condition ~ Condition indicative of age an history ~ Maria Theresa is missing the very tip of her index finger on her right hand, and she was holding something in her left hand that has the tip broken off. There are teeny hairline stress cracks on the inside of the rear legs on her chair, but they were never broken. Likely just very fine cracks that occurred during the stresses of firing or cooling. He has had a repair to the tip of his right foot, and a flower on the ground next to him is missing the tip of one petal. Remarkably excellent condition considering the age of these pieces.
