Overview:
An exquisite turn-of-the-century antique tabletop easel picture frame crafted in heavy cast brass (or gilt metal). This piece beautifully captures the transitional artistic movements of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, blending grand Rococo Revival symmetry with the emerging organic elements of the Art Nouveau period. The frame includes a charming, color-harmonized vintage print portrait of an Edwardian-era lady in a wide-brimmed hat, perfectly preserved under glass.Artistic & Design Highlights:

• The Crest: The top apex features an classical House of the Rising Sun or mythological grotesque mask blending smoothly into a scallop-shell silhouette. Suspended below is an ornate pendant of cascading foliage and fruit.
• The Borders: Deeply pierced, openwork open C-scrolls and scrolling lace-like borders line the vertical margins, providing an elegant silhouette against any background.
• Art Nouveau Base: The bottom center boasts a highly stylized Art Nouveau botanical motif—an abstracted seed pod or ribbed leaf flanked by elegant, whiplash tendril scrolls that transition down into stylized scrolling feet.
