Antique Art Nouveau Pressed Glass Vanity / Powder Jar with Repoussé Woman Lid
Beautiful antique vanity or powder jar featuring an ornate pressed-glass body and a decorative silver-tone metal lid with an Art Nouveau-style female profile, flowers and flowing scrollwork.
The heavy clear glass body has deeply molded geometric and fan-like decoration with starburst details on the base. The lid features a raised repoussé-style portrait of a woman surrounded by floral and flowing organic decoration typical of the Art Nouveau period.
No maker or metal hallmark has been identified, so the manufacturer and exact metal composition are unknown.

• Weight: 14.4 oz — The glass body has a visible crack. The crack is clearly shown in the photographs. The jar remains intact and displays well.
