Very nice helmet. The “Mohawk” I think is brass underneath? Main body appears to be nickel silver I can’t find any brass finish underneath. It looks a little warmer in pictures but it’s nick silver colored in person. Leather strap has broken on one side as pictured, interior leather flaps intact. Very nice authentic piece. I haven’t cleaned it up at all, leave that to preference of buyer I haven’t even hit it with a rag, definitely had a lot of tarnish and even dirt/dust that will easily come off.
