Stunning antique Chinese export cigarette / trinket jewelry box, dating from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic period (circa 1900–1940s).This is a premium, variant featuring a solid stone base a fully stone-lined interior (likely agate, bowenite, or spinach jade) rather than common wood or glass lining. The exterior sides are fitted with uniform celadon green hardstone panels. Lid showcases an incredibly intricate, hand-carved reticulated (pierced) openwork stone panel featuring traditional floral/leaf motifs. The entire box is secured in a beautiful, heavily chased brass framework with engraved floral detailing and ornate corner feet.Condition: Excellent antique condition.
