Antique D&C Limoges France Hand Painted Porcelain Plate 9\" w/ Roses & Leaves For Sale

This is a beautiful antique late Victorian era porcelain plate with hand painted pink roses, green leaves and a scalloped edge. This plate was manufactured by the brand R. Delinieres & Co. sometime between 1894-1900 in Limoges, France. It is marked D&C France on the back. The roses were most likely hand painted onto a blank plate produced by D&C by an amateur artist during the same time period. The plate measures to be 9 inches in diameter, making it the perfect size for displaying in a hutch or china cabinet!
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, etc... It does have some slight imperfections under the glaze from the firing process.. A few \"freckles\" or very tiny dark spots and a couple small pink paint smudges on the bottom of the plate. There is a bit of wear to the unglazed rim on the bottom too. This is very common for 100+ year old dishes. It is in immaculate shape when you consider how old it is! A beautiful plate that is perfect for display and decorative uses, it\'d be a lovely addition to your collection!
