This sale is for a vintage Dietz #6 Bell bottom lantern. This lantern is marked New York Central on the globe and on the top of the hat. Double marked. The red globe is embossed and in beautiful condition. No cracks or missing pieces. The lantern is complete and in EX condition for its age,
Dietz made the #6 bell bottom lanterns from 1890-1919.
This is a neat piece of New York Central RR history. It comes from my personal collection. I have a couple of these so it’s time to let one go.
