Charming antique greeting postcard published by Samson Brothers of New York, circa 1910s. A little Dutch girl in a red bonnet, green dress, white apron and yellow wooden shoes proudly holds up a lucky horseshoe beside a panoramic Holland landscape with windmills, a red-roofed farmhouse and the sea beyond. The printed verse reads:
\"I\'ve hunted \'till I found a horse\'s shoe, I\'ll send it on, to bring good luck to you.\"
The scene is framed by a blue-green Greek key-style border, with the verse set in a decorative Arts & Crafts-style lettering and colored initial capitals. The divided back is marked \"POST CARD,\" \"For Correspondence / For Address Only,\" \"Made in U.S.A.,\" the Samson Brothers SB circle logo, and the number 9.
