Presented for sale is an authentic antique Dutch silver spice tower (besamim) in the iconic form of a windmill, dating to circa 1900. This piece features four rotating blades, a detailed balustrade, and a tapered architectural body.
Unlike many later reproductions, this item was sourced from the premier Judaica sale house, J. Greenstein & Co., and carries an attribution of The Netherlands, circa 1900. The windmill is beautifully proportioned for a ritual collection or display. The spice chamber is accessed through the aperture in the base, a classic design for high-quality Dutch miniatures of this era.
