Antique EUROPEAN CARVED WOOD FOLK ART PANEL - AS FOUND - 16C For Sale

This is a very old carved wood panel of a man and woman. Appears to be European. Selling it as found. The woman figure lifts away and needs reattached. I.D. on the back side states this is from the 16th C. Not sure of the age, however it appears to be very old. We can't make out the full inscription on the back. (see photo). Measures approx 18" x 14 1/2". From a local estate.
