This is an antique French jewelry box with it\'s square beveled glass casket and tufted burgundy silk interior. Made in the late 19th to early 20th centuries. The beveled glass panels are framed by ornate brass with multi prong settings. The hinged lid opens to a tufted burgundy silk interior.
Condition ~ The beveled glass panels have no chips or cracks. The burgundy interior fabric has wear, old soil stains and age discoloration. No dings or dents to the ornate brass. There is some wear. The underside has a slight wave and there is discoloration and stain marks. The clasp opens and closes securely.
