Antique French DURFOR Green Glass Canning Jar – 1.5 Liter
A beautiful old French DURFOR preserving jar featuring exceptionally thick green glass filled with wonderful bubbles and irregularities.
This substantial 1.5-liter jar has a lovely pale green color, a chunky cylindrical shape, and a matching green glass lid embossed with the DURFOR name. The original-style wire-bail closure has developed a deep, rusty patina that adds to its authentic antique character.
One of the most appealing features is the glass itself. Numerous trapped air bubbles, variations in thickness, and other manufacturing irregularities give this jar a beautifully imperfect appearance that is especially attractive when displayed in natural light.
Perfect for collectors of antique French glassware, European kitchen antiques, and vintage preserving jars. It would also make a lovely decorative accent in a French country kitchen, farmhouse pantry, or antique DURFOR (embossed on lid)
