Antique French Pigeon Oil Lamp – Lampe Pigeon Garantie Véritable
Authentic late 19th / early 20th century French brass Pigeon oil lamp, marked “Lampe Pigeon – Garantie Véritable” with original French patent and quality stamps. These lamps were famously marketed as safe, non-explosive alternatives to earlier oil lamps and were widely used throughout France and Europe.
This example retains its original clear glass globe, brass burner assembly with functional wick adjuster, and a felted base. The brass shows a beautiful aged patina consistent with over a century of use. No cracks to the globe and no major dents or repairs observed.
