• Sliding Front Plate:

Arched crest with radiant sunburst rays framing a prominent raised Magen David (Star of David).

• Central circular aperture (\"peep-hole\") cut into the star, designed to reveal the divine Hebrew name Shaddai (שדי) on the enclosed parchment scroll.

• Neoclassical repoussé garlands and bead swags framing a central reserve.

• Flared sunburst motif grounding the lower section.

• Backplate & Scroll Receptacle:

Fitted with an embossed vertical chamber richly decorated in relief with Art Nouveau / Jugendstil floral scrolls and foliage against a stippled ground.

• Integral side mounting flanges with original pierced holes for nail or screw attachment to the doorpost.

Overall: Very good antique condition consistent with age and devotional use.
