A wonderful antique Samuel L. Gottschalk Halloween postcard featuring a cheerful pumpkin-headed figure standing behind a festive wreath with the greeting:
“For Auld Lang Syne This Hallowe’en!”
Printed in Germany, this charming design combines a smiling jack-o’-lantern character, colorful floral wreath, and bright autumn landscape, making it a classic example of early 20th-century Halloween postcard art. The postcard was postmarked in 1911 and retains its original one-cent Benjamin Franklin stamp and handwritten correspondence, adding wonderful postal history appeal.
