Antique Hand Painted Neoclassical Greco-Roman Cherub Crackle Vase With Gold Gilt For Sale

A Beautiful vintage hand-painted ceramic art vase featuring an elaborate Neoclassical / Greco-Roman mythology design with winged cherubs, classical figures, swans, urn motifs, floral details, drapery, clouds and extensive gold gilt accents. Measures 8 and 3/4ths inches tall, 7 and a half inches tall, and weighs exactly 3 pounds. Finished in soft powder blue, ivory, burgundy, gold and muted pastel tones with an intentionally aged crackle/crazed glaze throughout. The flared rim and neck are richly decorated with gilt trim, portrait/cherub heads, birds and scrolling motifs. Bottom is marked “HAND PAINTED” inside a blue wreath emblem. No identifiable manufacturer or country mark is present, so I would not attribute this piece to a specific maker without further documentation. In Vintage pre-owned condition with overall glaze crazing/crackle, age-related discoloration, surface wear and wear/loss to the gold gilt, particularly around the rim and raised decoration.
