Antique hand-tinted portrait of a young child wearing a dark sailor-style outfit with a wide white collar. This appears to be an early photographic portrait that was enlarged and artistically enhanced by hand, sometimes called a crayon or solar enlargement.
Likely dates from the late 1800s to early 1900s. The child and photographer are unknown.
