Antique Italian Royal Flag from the Kingdom of Italy era (pre-1946), featuring the Savoy shield and crown.
This is a large-format example measuring approximately 70 inches in length, consistent with flags used for naval, maritime, or government display rather than decorative or souvenir purposes.
The central emblem displays the classic House of Savoy shield (red field with white cross) bordered and topped with a royal crown, identifying it as a monarchical Italian flag used prior to the abolition of the monarchy in 1946.
