The outside is made from plain indigo-dyed cotton, while the inside is lined with dark indigo kasuri fabric with repeating white geometric patterns. In some places, the outer indigo fabric has worn through, revealing the kasuri fabric underneath.
The contrast between the simple indigo exterior and the patterned kasuri interior is especially beautiful when the garment is opened.
