This is an early Keystone stereoview of towering ice pinnacles and glacial formations in Oregon, with a dark valley and a bank of clouds in the distance. The jagged, sunlit ice gives the pair strong depth in a viewer. It\'s a dramatic Pacific Northwest scenic with real visual appeal.
Format note: Gray curved-mount stereoview card, approx. 7\" x 3.5\", with two silver gelatin photographs mounted side by side for use in a stereoscope. The printed caption reads \"13564—In the Wonderland of the Northwest, Oregon, U.S.A.\"
Publisher: Keystone View Company, Manufacturers & Publishers, Meadville, Pa. The mount lists offices in St. Louis, San Francisco, Toronto, New York, and London, and the side imprint reads \"Copyright 1903 by B. L. Singley.\" The 1903 date is the copyright, and this mount style suggests printing in the early-to-mid 1900s. The reverse has no card number, only a printed passage on the influence of mountains quoting Lewis Morris and John Ruskin.
Inscription: No handwriting, names, or collector marks.
Condition: Very good overall for its age, with expected wear.
