Both the sword and scabbard bear the name Charlie A. Berger — engraved in ornate script on the scabbard and etched on the blade itself. Manufactured by M.C. Lilley & Co. of Columbus, Ohio, one of the most prestigious makers of Masonic regalia in American history (active 1882–1925). Features include:
Heavily ornate silver-toned scabbard with red enamel cross and Maltese cross detailing
Etched blade with Knights Templar imagery including a mounted knight, castle, and All-Seeing Eye
Red and blue enamel cross medallion at the guard
Ivory-toned grip engraved with fraternal symbols including a cross, dove, and chalice
