Antique M.C. Lilley Knights Templar Masonic Ceremonial Regalia Set
Opportunities to acquire complete M.C. Lilley ceremonial regalia of this quality are becoming increasingly difficult to find. This impressive antique Knights Templar-style Masonic ceremonial ensemble was manufactured by The M.C. Lilley & Co., Columbus, Ohio, one of America’s premier producers of military and fraternal regalia during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
This ensemble was acquired from the largest Masonic Temple in the U.S. and is believed to have been used for ceremonial degree work or ritual presentations. While I have not identified the exact catalog number or ceremonial role, the construction, materials, and original M.C. Lilley label are consistent with high-quality Masonic ceremonial regalia produced between approximately 1882 and 1925.
This is an outstanding display piece with exceptional visual presence and would be equally at home in an advanced Masonic collection, museum-quality display, lodge history exhibit, or historical costume collection.
