Up for sale is an authentic, late 19th-century Mason's Patent Nov. 30th 1858 fruit jar featuring the highly collectible embossed "Hero Cross" (Maltese cross) on the front face.This quart-sized jar dates from the 1880s to 1890s and was manufactured by the Hero Fruit Jar Company. It features a classic factory-ground lip, which remains fully intact with no typical rim chipping.
