Antique Metal Albimpkes Art Tirana Albania Filigree Trinket Box; Original Label For Sale

Offered to you is this lovely intricate filigree designed box that makes it the perfect piece to house your cherished small items---from jewelry, a special coin, or button, etc. Filigree is an art form that uses metal to make fantastic designs. This piece was made from 1900 to 1940 in Albania. It is a silver color but I can not find a mark to suggest it is Sterling. It is lined in a red felt material. It does have some slight damage---one of the points is broken off and three points are bent. Appraised value is $80 to $150 in excellent condition. I decided to only ask for $50 because the damage isn't noticeable unless you really look for it. I have had this piece for 30+ years and I never noticed it. I just had it on a shelf and admired it from time to time. Measurements:
5 inches wide across the lid
3 1/2 inches wide with the top off
1 1/2 inches deep
