Antique Netherlands Centenary Tea Tin William I Queen Wilhelmina 1813-1913 For Sale

For your consideration is an antique Dutch commemorative tin, likely created for the Prince of Orange Nassau jubilee. The front features a portrait of King Willem I (William I of the Netherlands) in military uniform, framed by a golden crown and decorative garlands. The tin was produced to celebrate the centenary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the return of the House of Orange-Nassau to power. The tin does have some wear and patina, but at over 100 years old, still displays nicely. There are a few dents on the lid and one small dent on the back right hand corner. The tin measures approximately 10 inches tall and has a diameter of 6.5 inches. Thank you for your interest.
