Antique MADONNA/CHILD ICON ART LITHOGRAPH Giltwood Frame c1800s GREEK

Genuine 19th Century litho of Greek Byzantine iconography within its original, genuine carved giltwood frame/under glass. These is not a modern piece or a reproduction.
Set of 2 icons
A traditional Byzantine \'Our Lady Of Perpetual Help\' Greek Madonna with the child Jesus in her arms. She is flanked by two flying angels, one on each side.
This is a very high quality lithograph- the imagery is distinct, and the colors are very rich and jewel toned. Background color is a gilded antiqued gold foil heavy paper, with golden highlights on the figures.
There is Greek lettering relating to Jesus on this print [the word ICXC appears, which is the Greek spelling for Jesus].
Excellent condition, no damage and no fading. Frame is undamaged and glass has no scratches. It has its original brown paper backing, which at some point has a bit of masking tape applied to some small rips. This is on the BACK of the piece and there is heavy cardboard between the paper and the print which is totally undamaged [see last photo]. Secure hanging hook attached to the back- ready to hang.
Highly Collectible. Rare.
This is a beautiful piece, great for display and hanging on any wall.
