Pair of antique Continental cast metal wall plates, late 19th to early 20th century, in the rococo revival style. Each has a shaped rim with raised shell-and-scroll cartouches at four points and a deep-relief center scene of winged putti.
Plate 1: Cherubs at play among grapevines — one holds a torch and ribbon, another grasps a staff, a third tumbles below. Grape clusters and leaves fill the foreground.
Plate 2: Cherubs with a floral garland and streaming ribbons, with a butterfly in the upper left.
Dark charcoal patina throughout, consistent with age. Unmarked; the metal appears to be pewter or a similar white-metal alloy (non-magnetic). Minor surface wear and light scratches on the wells as shown in photos — no cracks, breaks, or repairs noted. Suitable for display or wall hanging.
