Antique Porcelain Spring Cherub Putto Child with Applied Floral Details
Absolutely adorable porcelain cherub / putto figure, likely German, depicting a sweet child figure adorned with an elaborate applied floral garland and flower crown. Soft hand-painted facial features, delicate pink accents, and a charming Spring / Flora theme.
It is very reminiscent of Sitzendorf / Dresden / Volkstedt / German porcelain figures.
Marked to underside with a red number and impressed marks.
Lovely condition with expected age-related wear. As with porcelain floral figures of this type, there are some tiny tip losses or roughness to some applied petals/leaves. Please review photos closely. On the back of the cherub, it’s possible there were wings or another floral detail that seems to be missing.
