This is an antique real photo postcard showing five men in a photographer\'s studio, probably taken in the 1910s. Three men stand in the back row and two sit on a wooden slat bench in front. All five wear suits and hats: a light straw boater, a fedora, and several derby and soft-brim hats. Each man has a cigar or cigarette in his mouth. The mustached man seated at left wears a pinstripe suit, a patterned tie and a watch chain. The young man seated at right has a watch fob pinned to his vest. The studio setting has a painted foliage backdrop and a patterned floor covering. It\'s a great early-20th-century image of men\'s fashion and everyday life, and the shoes, pocket details and expressions are all crisp.
The back has an AZO stamp box with all four triangles pointing up, which dates the card to about 1904–1918. It has a divided back with \"Correspondence Here\" and \"Name and Address Here.\" The card is unused, with no message, stamp or postmark. There is a small pencil notation in the upper corner of the back.
The card measures about 5 1/2\" x 3 1/2\", which is standard postcard size. Please see the detailed photos for the condition of this item.
Condition:Used/vintage condition consistent with age, and the image is still strong and clear. The white lower margin has several small vertical creases and cracks, mostly toward the right side. The corners are lightly rounded and there is light wear along the edges. There\'s a small stain spot on the jacket of the standing man at upper left, and a few tiny white emulsion spots across the image. The back is toned, with light foxing and scattered spots. There is a small pencil notation in the upper right of the back. No tears or pieces missing were observed. Please review the detailed photos, as they are part of the description.
