Antique real photo postcard with a studio portrait of a young man in a suit and tie, set in an embossed mount-style border with the embossed motto "To Remind You of Happy Hours." Undivided back marked "Private Post Card — Address only to be written on this side," with a stamp box. Slightly oversized, about 6.2 x 3.9 inches. Unused, with no writing. Used condition with toning, foxing and a couple of stain spots.
No photographer, studio or town is printed. The embossed keepsake frame makes this more decorative than a plain portrait card, and it suits RPPC, early photography and embossed postcard collectors.
Condition: a stain spot at the upper left, a reddish spot near the motto, scattered foxing and overall toning; corners are sound.
