This antique Russian desk clock combines a sculptural case with the formal language of Imperial decoration. The wooden case is covered in brown leather and shaped to evoke richly draped fabric, creating the appearance of a miniature draped baldachin. Gilt mounts frame the composition, with a finely modeled bust of Emperor Nicholas I rising above the case and an Imperial Eagle positioned above the dial.
The white enamel dial is marked with Roman numerals and framed by a gilt bezel accented with a rhythmic pattern of red enamel. Below, a gilt laurel garland is suspended from red cabochons and centered by a crossed-ribbon motif set with rose-cuts. The combination of dark leather, warm gilt decoration, and touches of red creates a restrained but distinctly Imperial character.
The clock rests on an elaborate cast scrolling easel stand with foliate motifs. Its 8-day mechanical movement is marked "Нед. Зав." on the backplate, indicating that the movement was designed to be wound approximately once a week. Two apertures are provided at the rear, one for winding the mainspring and the other for setting the hands; both are operated with the single lyre-shaped key accompanying the clock. The underside bears the handwritten number "8357" in black ink, possibly an old inventory number.
The clock and its lyre-shaped winding key are preserved together in a fitted presentation case, with a dedicated recess for each. Measurements Height 5¼″ (13.5 cm) Dial Diameter 2″ (5 cm) Weight 7.2 oz (205 g) Hallmarks КФАБЕРЖЕ K. Fabergé in Cyrillic

The clock is in good antique condition, with the expected signs of age that accompany a piece of this period. The leather covering shows minor surface wear and areas of dryness consistent with age. The gilt mounts retain a mellow aged tone, and the enamel decoration on the bezel appears intact, with no visible chips noted.
The clock winds and runs, and the movement is active at the time of listing. As with any antique mechanical timepiece, however, its performance can be affected by age and by the vibrations of shipping. This clock is therefore offered as a collectible "AS IS" - we do not guarantee timekeeping accuracy or continued functionality upon arrival.
