Antique Stereoview Card, Railroad Viaduct, Fairmount Park, Philadelphia For Sale

An antique stereoview card, measuring 7 x 3.5 inches, published under the “American Views” imprint with a decorative red Greek-key border. The image, captioned “Fairmount Park - Phila.” in the negative, depicts a multi-arch stone railroad viaduct spanning the Schuylkill River, with temporary wooden scaffolding still attached to portions of the bridge deck, suggesting the structure was newly completed or under repair at the time of the photograph. Two work barges are anchored near the central piers. The flat card mount and ornamental border are consistent with earlier stereoview production, likely 1870s.
