Antique Swiss cast bronze bell marked “Bernegger & Co., Solothurn.”
Substantial old bell weighing approximately 6 pounds and measuring approximately 8 inches across the mouth. It retains its heavy rectangular iron carrying handle and internal iron clapper.
The bell produces a strong, clear ringing tone. The body has an attractive naturally aged surface with darkened bronze, oxidation and areas of green patina. It has not been polished or refinished.

Condition is consistent with considerable age and use. There are surface scratches, casting irregularities, oxidation, discoloration and wear throughout.
