Antique Victorian Miniature Purse / Handbag Candy Container

Up for consideration is a highly unique and hard-to-find antique miniature candy container shaped like a lady's handbag or purse. Measuring approximately 3" tall (including the fabric top) and 2.5" wide, these delicate pieces were traditionally used as holiday bonbonnières for small sweets or as ornaments for feather trees.

Materials & Design: Constructed of sturdy cardboard covered in vibrant orange paper panels and metallic blue-and-silver striped paper on the sides.
Accents: The front and back are decorated with tiny, intricate gold metal flower studs.
Fabric Top: Features its original pink silk/satin fabric top with the original braided pink and tan drawstring cord. The original pink lining is still visible inside the pouch.
Provenance Mark: The underside retains a partial original gummed paper label with a classic Victorian scalloped cobalt blue border, typical of German export stamps from this era.

This rare piece is in fair to good antique condition, showing honest age and wear expected from a fragile 100+ year old cardboard and paper item. Please note the following:
Missing Hardware: The bottom originally had four tiny metal ball posts/feet. Two of these posts are missing, leaving small empty holes at two of the corners.
Surface Wear: There is some light staining and discoloration on the bottom and minor spotting on the metallic striped paper on the sides.
Fabric: The pink fabric top is intact but shows some minor age-related fraying around the edges.
The structural integrity of the cardboard box itself remains solid with no major crushing.
