Offered is a wonderful late Victorian American revolving rolling pin, dating to approximately 1875–1890. This is an authentic antique kitchen tool with beautiful original character and untouched patina.
Crafted from hard maple, the barrel has developed a rich, warm color from well over a century of age and use. The original green-painted turned handles feature finely incised decorative rings, a hallmark of better-quality Victorian workmanship. The paint shows honest wear from generations of use and has not been repainted, adding to its authenticity and collector appeal.
The rolling pin revolves smoothly and displays beautifully. It is an excellent example of 19th-century American kitchenware and would be equally at home in a primitive farmhouse, country store, or Americana collection.
Very good antique condition with expected wear from more than 130 years of use. Original green paint shows attractive age-related wear and loss. The maple barrel has a beautiful natural patina with scattered mineral streaks and small dark age marks typical of antique maple. No major cracks or repairs observed.
